To celebrate the 500th follower on Twitter, we’re digging into the prize closet and giving away a free copy of the book The Art of Monsters vs. Aliens! This giveaway has two ways to enter, so enter twice and double your chances! *Please note, contest is now closed! Thanks for entering!*

A huge thanks to everyone who has followed us via Twitter @AnimatorIsland and for stopping by weekly to read the articles here on the website. We hope you’ve been enjoying them and learning a lot! To win The Art of Monsters vs. Aliens, all you need to do is one of two things:

  • Between now and May 10th click on the “Tweet This!” button on ANY Animator Island article and share your favorite info with other animators.
  • Leave a comment on this article (make sure you include a valid email address to be contacted if you win!)

You can enter using either or BOTH methods. Comment and tweet and you’ll be entered twice! Full rules and regulations can be found here.

The Art of Monsters vs. Aliens features over 190 pages of full color artwork, models, concept art, and interviews from the films’ creators. There’s also a forward written by Stephen Colbert.

Good luck, and tune in next Monday for more animation tips, tricks, and secrets! *Please note: Contest is now closed. Congrats to winner Zach Bova, and thanks to everyone who entered!*
